NEW P.R.O. - CLEMENCIA CHARANA or ... "Clemmo!" as she likes to be called :-)

We herewith want to congratulate and welcome our daughter, Clemencia Charana, to the YASHA family. We hope that she will be very happy with us.

PERSONAL NOTE from her :

"I think the greatest asset for me to be part of the YASHA team, is the fact that the profit that comes from the guest house will be channeled back to the school projects in Njoro, Teret and Mogotio. It makes me feel as if I am really making a difference in the lives of those precious kids. Why don't you join me in my pursuit to give those kids a better future :-)"

OPENING - 1 August 2009

YASHA Guest House is situated about 30km from Nakuru on the main road going to Mau-Narok. It is also one of the roads taking you to Masai Mara, the most famous Game Park in Kenya, as well as not far from Lake Begoria with it's hot water springs an Lake Beringo.. Other attractions in the area is Lake Nakuru Game Park, The Menengai Crater, the Hyrax Pre-Historic site, the Lord Egerton Castle as well as various rose farms in the vicinity. We are about 1km from Egerton University as well as very near to Meat Castle that belongs to a German who makes all kinds of delicacies.

With the choice between 3 bedrooms in a lovely wooden house or a large 4-bed "mud hut" - built in the traditional way, but with all the necessary comfort - you can be sure to have a wonderful night's rest. This is a combination of a true Africa experience, but with the kind of hospitality and food that will remind you of your mother’s home ...

The best thing about YASHA Guest House is that all the profits are going towards a community project to help orphans and children from single moms/widows. The immediate goal is to buy land, as the property where these kids are having school is going to be sold at an auction. The next phase will be to build them their own school.

Thanks for your support that will reach far beyond a comfortable experience at YASHA Guest House.
